A discontinued watch and case, as the XGT were replaced by the Grande Reverso. Now you have both of them. Bravo. Best, Nicolas

thanks for the info, Nicolas. i knew about the discontinuation of the model but not the case as well!l! great watch to wear. look forward to taking more pictures with both watches! eventually...looking for a Reverso Minute Repeater and Gyrotourbillon...lo... 

yea it is a relative bargain...i agree!! Also like the Reverso tourbillon that you posted EXCELLENT pictures of in the past. very classic and refined. wouldn't mind having TWO Reverso tourbillons; one with an 'exposed' tourbillon (a la GYROtourbillon) and...

would at least like to see the bracelet mounted on the watch but its very expensive for just a bracelet. maybe ill try on a different Reverso with that bracelet and use my imagination.!!

it's movement is the "Autotractor," which is the most robust movement JLC has made so far. It's also, besides the Ludwig Perpetual, one of the only grande date models that can go forwards OR backwards. I was really hoping for JLC to continue "Grande Date"... 

thanks for all that info Dean....i really had no idea about the autotractor movement. so to clarify your point, the date can go backwards without damaging the movement? I am thinking of the situation when I travel BACK from India and would move the 'blue'... 

the blue "hometime" hand will stay put and the "local" main silver hand can go forwards AND backwards and the Grande Date moves smoothly in both directions. It's really a brilliant movement and this was the only grande date version of the Autotractor. The...
