Tonight I finally attended the musical show with Tokio Myers, followed by the 1931 cinema experience with two projectors beaming light onto a cascade of tightly programmed water flow. I have to say that this was all right up my alley! I genuinely appreciated and enjoyed Mr. Myers' fusion of classical and modern instrumental music, along with the impressively programmed features displayed in the cascading wall of water behind him.... The neat little design touches and flourishes epitomizing the 1930s Art Deco movement and ambiance truly made the exhibit cohesive and all-together a pleasurable experience. I feel great to have spent a couple of hours in this environment, and even got to get my picture taken behind the wheel of the Ford Model T - another brilliant design feature and occasion
. The only downside was that the 1931 Cafe was already closed, they were packing it up for the next destination on the Show's schedule. I contended myself with buying chocolate at the adjacent Eataly grocery store and restaurant
........ Hope you enjoy the images, 'til next time !!
