Dear all, I have been lurking around this forum for a long time. Never posting
myself, but reading a lot of interesting stories about new and old pieces and
occasionally responding. Owning a Reverso GT for 8 years already, I finally
made my first step into an older watch; 1940/45 I think. It is a steel watch
case housing a calibre 463 with black dial, lugs 16mm, size is 31-38 mm. A
real nice small watch. On the internet you read often it is a WW2 watch, but I do not think so.
The model isn't nor has been military at all, at least as far as I can trace
it. Mine for sure isn't as it lacks any markings. I just fell for the simplicity of the dial. If any of you guys knows more background on the watch, you are welcome to
educate me. In the mean time I am happy with my a little addition and will try
different looks when testing straps. Maybe NATO or a black rally type, though that might be hard to find given
the size. I am open to suggestions. Robert
