The results of impulse and lack of self control, plus a deep black beauty and very well balanced dial...

I had good news from the JLC boutique that my Reverso GT was back from service. Great news! So I went to collect it with my Nomos on the wrist.

Then a certain black dial stood out in the showcase when I made my way to the counter to check that my Reverso was all good....

Next thing I knew I was going home with three watches. A good dream, or a bad one? It is real, no doubt :-|

Some early pictures to share. One thing I will say - this black dial is very special in that it looks black black, no matter which angle and lighting you look at it. Even in the boutique, the black is really black!

Congratulations, Richard. A serviced watch back home, a nice Nomos, and a great catch!

This Black Master Control is eye catching. Not the most popular, but that's also why I like it. Bravo! Best, Nicolas

You probably wondered why there was a picture of a Nomos on the JLC forum too ;-) [nt]

As long as it is a nice watch, I don't care. ;) [nt]

This is one of the first watches I noticed ..

in the boutique as I am quite partial to black dials and it does stand out from the crowd. It's always a danger to collect something and walk out with something extra. In this case I think you did good as it looks great on your wrist. Congrats! fernando

Thanks. It is special...

and I especially like that it doesn't have any additional text aside from the brand on the dial. No "Automatic"!
