Duomètre Unique Travel Time
Assuming you want something a mere mortal could actually consider buying (i.e. not a Hybris Mechanica model), here are my thoughts.
The essence of Jaeger-LeCoultre is this:
- Quality and beautiful build
- Manufacture movements (thousands of them, customized to each watch)
- Clever complications (it goes way beyond the Reverso)
- Fair price for luxury
Given all this, I have a suggestion for you: The Duomètre Unique Travel Time
It's simply amazing, with nothing else like it from any manufacturer and at an attainable (if expensive) price.
Sure, Jaeger-LeCoultre can put together a chronograph, but that's not what they're known for. So let's talk cool complications: Push-button dual timezones arranged at 2 and 10 on the face with a turning globe at 6:00? Awesome! And the Duomètre concept is just plain cool!
Plus, it's gorgeous and eye-catching in a way that will make everyone wonder what it is, knowing it's something special. And it is: You have to go to Paris to get one!
