Jaeger-LeCoultre

Discreet luxury

As a former owner of both the steel and the yellow gold versions of this model, I think this is brilliant and surprised that I never knew this version existed. I'd like to think of this as a perfect example of discreet luxury, very much in keeping with JLCs philosophy. It's a simple, purpose-driven design and only the owner (and a handful others) is likely to know it's true significance.

Question: does the platinum version still have a gold medallion with the 1000h test on the back or is it engraved in platinum like on the ultra thin models?

On a related note: I personally think these old 37mm versions are so well proportioned and much prefer them to the later 40 or 39mm models.
