This is my first JLC, and at the moment feels like my ultimate watch - I can't imagine going higher in terms of cost, nor the sheer joy and wonder this piece gives me. I can't stop taking it off and looking at the movement! This message has been edited by...  

It is not a secret I am a huge fan of this watch family. The Q.L is probably the most " intellectual " Duometre. It takes some time to understand its true purpose: Accuracy. What a watch! A pleasure to welcome you on our JLC forum. All the best, Nicolas

is, arguably, one of the MOST beautiful watches on the market, aesthetically, and intellectually, it is amazing. Since 1 spring drives the escapement, it is always in motion and stopping and starting and resetting the watch has little-to-no bearing to acc... 

Great choice - the Duometre is much admired here

My preference for the moon is the YG model with the maroon sky - nothing like it in the market. The new moon with the engraved moon phase on the newer edition is also excellent. I do favor the antique white dial of the YG model as well although I have to ...
