Actually, while I'd certainly prefer no date, this date window is bothering me less in the renderings than I thought it would.
On the other hand, while I'm not normally one to carp over prices, I am put off by the pricing on this model. It seems like a very large premium for what are mostly design tweaks. (The "timer" function, if I understand it correctly, is just an alternative means of reading the alarm time, as opposed to any kind of major mechanical complication.) I keep finding myself asking "$4,000 US for that?"
