19 years late to the party — that’s my speed!

 

I don’t post much these days, but this watch I will always associate with this forum and its longstanding champion, Nico, a/k/a Vlad. I fell in love with this watch when it was first released almost 20 years ago, in large part thanks to his pictures and posts. At the time,it was only something to dream about. Today, though, I stumbled upon the right one, at the right time, and it is now on my wrist! Well worth the wait, and one I will cherish.

Good to see you here. This place is as much yours as anyone else's, please stop by whenever you can! I do hope it will be more regular though I have always associated the Duometre in general with Nicolas. There are a handful of watches that make me think ...

Moreso than the platinum grainy dial variant. The dial touch of color really set it off. 👍 Always fun to see a fudroyant and big center seconds as well.
