Swiss Coat of Arms
It looks to me like the Coat of Arms of Switzerland, just with a wreath surrounding it for decoration and a slightly fancier shield. Both of those additions are, to the best of my knowledge, legitimate in heraldry.
Here is an 1897 print of the coats of arms of the Swiss cantons, with the overall Swiss Coat of Arms at the top:
That is a beautiful Reverso and if it is the right price, I would buy it!

JLC made several LE for several markets, so it is impossible to have a global knowledge on all these LEs.... To be sure, you should send the ref number to JLC with a pic or two, to check if this model existed, and what is the story behind. Best! Nicolas

Yes am afraid there is just too many editions being issued out there for us to keep track of everyone. Guess asking JLC to verify is the best source. Have done it through LeClub on their website. Hope they reply. If they do, will share with you all Gary

I tried to find what it could be on google for the fun but no clue. Maybe it was provided by the owner ... Curious to know the answer. Nice Reverso by the way.
Did the same as well....but could find any image
even for the dial design, I did not find this model. but the emblem is nice in a "generic" kind of way....something nice and easily acceptable instead of initials or dates. well, am hoping JLC will be able to shed more light on this

Really want to know more about this piece before I make the purchase. Hopefully it is still there in the shop. Any how, it's got me curious to find out the meaning behind the emblem. Hope I hear from them soon.

Hi Foowy, I think there is almost no chance it is a fake watch. No fake would do such a good job on the engravings of the Swiss coat of arms and the 18k marking. Good luck!
thats what i thought as well
fakes would usually be of the more popular mass models....but in the end I didnt go for it and opted for a GMT 16700 instead... thanks georgetownhoya
