Let's wait for Nico's review on this but I like the looks... ...

Subdials seem a bit close to the middle...

...just a first impression.

gorgeous yet predictable

 By: Gelato Monster : August 31st, 2023-15:46

I agree with the subdials being closer to the cannon pinion than what they should be, but...

... I am a fan of the color combination. I wish they brought more dial variety to the master control line as well, instead of the plain silver dials they've been making as of late. Overall it's a winner. Among the best in the polaris line.

Spot on.

Yes, but is it better?

 By: amanico : August 31st, 2023-21:31

Me too...

 By: amanico : September 1st, 2023-22:59

Disappointing

Not much innovation here, especially considering the price increase for the same watch they have been making since what, 2018?

EL3 soon??!!!

 By: K-Lo : September 1st, 2023-02:02

Not that I know...

 By: amanico : September 1st, 2023-05:09

I like the new one with a hint of orange...lovely !

 By: mahesh : August 31st, 2023-17:22
Blue is dynamic too. Best, mahesh.,

not a must have

 By: Gabriel80 : August 31st, 2023-18:27
but a nice to have! ๐Ÿ‘

Really just a new dial, and lesser functionality. Personally, I really like a 12-hour counter as it's more functional.

JLC should work on thinness. The watch is too thick and will wear very large given the tiny bezel. The price is aspirational. JLC has the chops to compete with the Swiss high-end stainless sports models. I'm not sure why they don't try harder on this fron...

In total agreement.

We can still dream :)

And a blank back

 By: Sebi : September 1st, 2023-15:58
that we can customize !

+1!

 By: amanico : September 1st, 2023-22:57

IMHO This is absolutely gorgeous . . . But . . .

 By: Mach : August 31st, 2023-23:25
With their ever increasing prices, my expectations are for them to make some effort on decreasing the size of their movements and cases.

But you like big watches ๐Ÿ˜€

 By: GWIS : September 1st, 2023-05:55
At 42mm this particular Polaris seems an ideal size for a sports watch and, as others have commented, itโ€™s got a relatively small movement which means that the sub-dials are close together. Personally, I like 42-44mm watches and so I donโ€™t mind larger cas...
