The new Polaris Chronograph
Let's wait for Nico's review on this but I like the looks...
I agree with the subdials being closer to the cannon pinion than what they should be, but...
... I am a fan of the color combination. I wish they brought more dial variety to the master control line as well, instead of the plain silver dials they've been making as of late.
Overall it's a winner. Among the best in the polaris line.
Well, there is not much to say. Same movement, same case proportions, the dial has a different color " smoke grey " and the watch has its price increased... The good thing is this fabric strap.I think I said everything.
Yes - agreed. nice looking. Evolution rather than revolution. A Lot of hype for little return.
I think there is some change in the movement. It now has a running seconds but no hour-display for the chronograph.
Well - that is another matter completely! Personally I prefer the hour-display for the chronograph.

Not much innovation here, especially considering the price increase for the same watch they have been making since what, 2018?
Yes. Before, it was in gold. And it had a hours sub dial rather than the running seconds. Which is not an improvement, for me.
I like the new one with a hint of orange...lovely !
Blue is dynamic too.

Really just a new dial, and lesser functionality. Personally, I really like a 12-hour counter as it's more functional.
JLC should work on thinness. The watch is too thick and will wear very large given the tiny bezel.
JLC has the chops to compete with the Swiss high-end stainless sports models. I'm not sure why they don't try harder on this front. The ingredients would be: slim, somewhat elegant/stylish, not too big...a non-pedestrian movement (the movement in new Polaris chrono would happily function behind a closed-case back...there's not much to see there, being a wholly industrially-finished effort).
Oh well...
