JLC should work on thinness. The watch is too thick and will wear very large given the tiny bezel.
The price is aspirational.
JLC has the chops to compete with the Swiss high-end stainless sports models. I'm not sure why they don't try harder on this front. The ingredients would be: slim, somewhat elegant/stylish, not too big...a non-pedestrian movement (the movement in new Polaris chrono would happily function behind a closed-case back...there's not much to see there, being a wholly industrially-finished effort).
