A watch I liked a lot: Jaeger Lecoultre Master 8 Days.

Unveiled in 2003, it was the first round JLC watch to house the 8 Days movement, with the Master 8 Days Perpetual. In platinum, so called Antoine Lecoultre, limited to 200 pieces: There was also a very nice steel version, limited to 50 pieces with a black...

Seriously considered buying one about fifteen years ago but never pulled the trigger... the black dial version is top cool!!

I drooled over it and am sure it caused sleepless nights. The black dial is not bad. I seem to recall the platinum had Antoine's signature on the left caseband?

The more I look at it the more I feel that the balance on the dial is off. It seems like it is tilted to the left slighty. This is caused the rdm indicator that extends to the left just a

bit too much, and the small seconds should have been moved slightly up and to the right. Compare this to the layout of the Lange 1 or Panoreserve and the placement of all the subdials and indicators seems to have been done at random by JLC.

They love that kind of layout at JLC...
