....one lesson that I have learned.
while that does not help you now I share in your angier. I never use Fedex because having dealt with them so many times I realised that while they advertise to giving a good service it is far from the truth.
I'd rather post by local mail carrier (unmarked and uninsured) and see what happens- have done this 5-6 times with no issues.
