i hate fedex with a vengeance, but have to use them if buyers want it
Royal Mail international signed for does £500 and is very good. i've been lucky, i've bought and sold perhaps 1000 watches over the years and never lost anything. i've had con artists try to say it hasnt arrived, but copies of signatures soon put them to sleep. i always advise buyers that $500 is max insurance and if they arent happy they dont buy which is fine by me.
for incoming,from asia ems is best and from US usps is best.
sorry for your loss, it just shows that jewellery and watches have low insurance max for a reason. they employ people who cant be trusted.
