The core DNA of an ingenieur and ⚡️symbol is to be anti-magnetic! It’s almost like if Rolex issued a Milgauss that wasn’t anti-magnetic. What were they thinking? Naaaaaa, nobody will Notice?
Unfortunately, according to last year's interview of Christian Knoop, IWC product manager...
He explicitly said that IWC currently does not have intention to revivethe Ingenieur SL or Genta's 70s style. They would rather come up with something "new" . Sad. So our only hope is to get vintage Ingenieurs or go for other brands.
Was it common to have an 666 Ingenieur
with a black dial/ white wheel date?.... or a white dial / black wheel date?.. a friend of mine has this lovely one (pic attached / got it from his FB) They are lovely watches for sure! ...
