Am I right to think from the crystal that's a 3711 rather than a 3713?
Funny to read you saying that ultimately it's just about pilot watches for you, because I was just thinking this morning that, for all my attempts at diversifying, there are currently really only three types of watches I stick with: pilot chronos, dress watches with intricate (rather than minimal) looks, and, latest obsession, divers.

which is the real original and much less made than 3713. The box sapphire crystal is the real deal for me, I’m obsessed with box domed crystal.
