Did you find any nice Danish pastries in Solvang during your stop? When I was in college, I had little weekend trips to the countryside in Santa Barbara, and on Sunday morning I made the trek up to Solvang/Buellton for Sunday breakfast. The pancakes at Paula's are the best, along with Danish Kringles that were quite good. I'd bring some back to school for my mates. Sometimes I bought four or five gigantic Kringles and had to eat them for the next few days. Even brought one once for a PuristSPro meeting. In retrospect it's a good thing I didn't get an overdose on sweets or become a diabetic.
Now there are two reasons to go to Buellton/Solvang!
