I like the fact that they decreased the case sizes as of late. Big kudos to that!
Also, due to this classic design language they have I think the brand can acomodate a perpetual calendar, a repeater, or something of sorts…

They still have a couple of models in 44 mm housing the calibre I and should be able to house more complicated movements.
The Friedrich II and III are 39.2mm with tapered lugs so the fitting is great.

Yes, when one takes a closer look, you will notice the high level of polishing, bevelling, and frosting (instead of stripes), and the beautiful hand engraved characters at the back. I need to take a better pix of the back....the blue screws all look like ...
