Who makes the best micro rotor movement?
In terms of finishing and technical aspects.
Is it Laurent Ferrier?
Is it Chopard with their caliber 1.96/96.01-L?
Is it Parmigiani? (Same vaucher caliber as Chopard but who do you think finishes it better?)
Is it someone else? I could not think of better ones. Who am I missing?
I did not include Patek's caliber 240 because I think its finishing is subpar to these two.

Add the Lange Sax-o-Mat movement to the list.
Personally, I'm partial to the Laurent Ferrier. The layout, the rotor bridge, the finishing. All excellent, and contribute to a beautiful movement. That Chopard is certainly nice too.
Romain Gauthier's Insight Micro rotor is pretty spectacular
It's better finished than any of the above. However it is an acquired taste style wise. Cheers, Tim
Hmmm... great question!
Depends on what constitutes 'the best'. Bvlgari has the thinnest while retaining classical decoration and design, Czapek has a modern design, Parm, Romain, Chop....
A favorite of mine comes from Parmigiani.

are best imo. Parmigiani is nice too, this is Vaucher. Chopard is NOT Vaucher and has nothing to do with the Parmigiani one. Michel Parmigiani was in the construction team of the Chopard 1.96 back then, but today's Parmigiani-movement is different from it...
