I'd wondered about that as well. The only thing I could think of was something similar to the anti-vibration mountings of a motor, but I'm not sure how much sense that makes. I guess we'll hvae to wait for more info. nick

That reduces my interest, especially on a time-only watch. Maybe some additional complications to add at a later date........ The double direct escapement seems lately is becoming somewhat of a theme in these new "simple" independent watches. So many grea...

I haven't seen the dial on this new Laurent Ferrier piece, but although it is an automatic, I am already more interested in this than the new KV timepiece. The fact that it is an automatic does not detract from its beauty in the least. And as you know, I ...
