Yes, this is how DB knows to do the work and your guidelines seem to have given birth to something gorgeous.
I also think the DB28 is particularly well rendering the brand's DNA and , aside of your Starysky, this watch is a fantastic base choice.
I noticed the rose gold matched very nicely with the black finish when I saw the special editions they made with that combo.
This balance wheel is my favorite among the several ones they created. The flat and perfect disk from which you only see the string beating like a heart is mesmerizing.
I indeed notice the polished black 3-parts bridge on the first picture and this gives the watch a flawlessness that was less visible on the standard versions with cotes.
You avoided to make the watch to heavy with to many details (moon in white+black, hands in white...): it's a good choice imho.
Having a unique piece from DB is something really special and I can guess how you feel right now.
