Yes the choice of the bridges is a good one I believe,it gives so much sleekness to the overall look.
I just spent the day with it on the wrist and it feels fantastic,took more pictures….its honeymoon time anyway…..

To answer your questions below:
The performance indicator is present in all DB28 models,its just very very discreet,wow fantastic addition to an already wonderful watch,discreet but functional,and so full of horological gravity…when you wind the watch fully it exceeds the optimum performance range,its obvious as the barrels are so much in tension…after a little while it gets to an optimum performance range and the self regulating barrels do their best behaviour.
I opted for short lugs as I have a small wrist,this is the biggest I can go really,the watch is more compact and coherent,i like it much better.
Zirconium is a great material,charming,ever-changing ,magical….the way De Bethune polishes it is incredible,I believe it s quite strong and scratch resistant,don t forget DB uses it for their black cased watches..(no black coating,,,yes thats De bethune for you!!).
