Tough choice . . .
Both are amazing watches. So you can’t go wrong either way. And, in their current versions, they are similar in size, though the GMT is a few millimeters thicker. (Also, the diameter size is a bit misleading. Given the absence of lugs, they wear much better than you would expect on smaller wrists.)
That said, to me, the double balance is one of GF’s quintessential complications, and they’ve done a remarkable job fitting it into a comfortable, wearable piece, that is simply fun to watch in action. My vote would be for the Double Balancier . . .

Not really
There is a newer smaller version of the GMT and both wear pretty much the same most likely due to the lack of lugs. I noticed this when trying on the single/normal balanicer, the balancier 3, and the double balancier.

Very comfortable.
I have found the Double Balancier to be very comfortable when worn all day long, owing to its fairly light weight. It has a big dial, but it doesn’t feel big on the wrist. (That said, I haven’t worn it 24/7. But I don’t wear any watch when sleeping!) ...
Very hard to say.
It’s hard for me to suggest that one watch is similarly comfortable to another. Perhaps I would say an MB&F EVO in titanium. They are also large, but so light and well fitted to even fairly small wrists.

I would use it for sure. I have quite a few GMT watches and do end up using the additional timezones a fair bit because my team is spread out across a few countries. Do you have any of the convexe models?

…I think Ed probably hit the nail on the head with his questioning the GMT. It probably looks the cooler watch to the civilian eye, but yours is not that and so I’m going to say the double too. Dream watches. Really.

Based on movement complication and architecture alone the DB is the winner for me. I think the DB makes sense as a sports watch movement for GF, it's a more durable option than the inclined / double tourbillons and the design of the constant force remonto...
