But is the double bal more wearable?

There is a newer smaller version of the GMT and both wear pretty much the same most likely due to the lack of lugs. I noticed this when trying on the single/normal balanicer, the balancier 3, and the double balancier.

I find the dial more balanced 🤗 Every element is fully legible as well the depth is elegantly filled

Both are amazing watches. So you can’t go wrong either way. And, in their current versions, they are similar in size, though the GMT is a few millimeters thicker. (Also, the diameter size is a bit misleading. Given the absence of lugs, they wear much bett...  

It's the exact config I'd get too. BTW, how is the comfort if you leave the watch on 24/7?

I have found the Double Balancier to be very comfortable when worn all day long, owing to its fairly light weight. It has a big dial, but it doesn’t feel big on the wrist. (That said, I haven’t worn it 24/7. But I don’t wear any watch when sleeping!) ... 

It’s hard for me to suggest that one watch is similarly comfortable to another. Perhaps I would say an MB&F EVO in titanium. They are also large, but so light and well fitted to even fairly small wrists.

I was considering it too, but I like the curved case of the Greubel more.

More action and interesting to look at during the day. Much more animation. Beautiful movement finishing is seen on dial side. Both beautiful but once you get over the novelty of seeing the globe it isn’t as captivating. Ask yourself also . . . do you rea... 

I would use it for sure. I have quite a few GMT watches and do end up using the additional timezones a fair bit because my team is spread out across a few countries. Do you have any of the convexe models?

The globe is beautiful but I love the more complicated dial of the first! Both are magnificent mind you!

…I think Ed probably hit the nail on the head with his questioning the GMT. It probably looks the cooler watch to the civilian eye, but yours is not that and so I’m going to say the double too. Dream watches. Really.

Based on movement complication and architecture alone the DB is the winner for me. I think the DB makes sense as a sports watch movement for GF, it's a more durable option than the inclined / double tourbillons and the design of the constant force remonto...
