this isn't far off from how moser had their make swiss made great again
hand made, in house, swiss made etc is used a bit too liberally. quite a few companies are guilty but for some reason only a few get blasted like bremont. i don't know of many companies that state that their movement is actually just a lightly modified ebauche. that goes for tiny ones or big companies. i supposed it's human nature for us to let it slide for the little guy but that doesn't make it any more right.
stereo equipment is crazy in this regard considering the markups. i mean i guess the PCB board was screwed into the case in the USA but the board and components were all made in asia. hegel is one brand. their equipment sounds nice but they can't even put made in norway instead they just print norway on the back. seems silly.

I have heard a while back that Akrivia’s IG account was managed in fact by one of their dealers in the US.
