Complex issue
I was reading this post from time to time. It opened a pandoras box in my mind. Here are my thoughts:
1) What is handmade? Who ordains the stamp of handmade standards in Switzerland?
2) What is the motivation of the post? Is it to whistle-blow, is it to name-and-shame, is it in good faith, or was it in revenge to a vendetta previously?
3) There is a weak link that needs to be stronger. There needs to be stronger evidence. One cannot base the removal of instagram pics to “hiding something”. What if the maker just wanted to archive his posts to neaten it? If a kid were to read it; maybe he’d get angry. But we are educated people; these things should not even affect us, instead we should analyse the claims vs facts objectively.
4) I really sense a lot of heated emotions in his posts. I went to look at his previous posts. There aren’t many.
In the end, this post is quite perculiar to me. What is the motivation?
