I am considering selling one of my DB beauties to realize a watchmaking dream - a steel Lange Odysseus 😅 What is the best way to sell the watch now? An auction house? Chrono24? Ebay? Looking for someone willing to trade? 🤔 ...  

You sound like you have doubts. In that case wait…Your DB is a fantastic cool watch. IMO much nicer than the Odysseus.

Yes, I do have doubts... I know will regret this decision because DB25 from the beginning of the company is a real deal with better quality than the recent ones. From another side... I have other DB, so... 🤔

Wait untill you are sure.... because you will always be able to get a Odysseus - but this one - not so easy.

All of the complaints i have heard about DB i believe are being resolved and Lange i have heard have similar issue so,why not stick with the cool one lol but that is my two cents based upon my limited knowledge and huge bias (i am super jelly you have MUL...

It is difficult for an independent brand that produces so much internally with such little funding to remain solvent and with the funding from WB, they can remain functioning which is for me more important and I still think that the brand is making amazin...

In my opinion is the opposite (Odysseus is not included 😂). The quality of these watches is above a lot of different companies. I think the retail price is very reasonable, market... hmmm not at all 🙈

…then start with some dealers to see where the real bid is on your watch. DB is hot still, there are several dealers who should be able to give you a bid. Hot does not mean the prices you might see for listed watches are anywhere close to what they sell f... 

Honestly, I would even prefer to wait and find someone who will appreciate this watch, rather than sell it to some flippers. Of course, I know that this brand is specific. it is difficult to buy DeBethune as well as to sell. It should be a keeper, but som... 

Laminate it for durability and water resistance. Wear it for a week. You’ll get over it. Then you’ll come to your senses and keep your amazing, rare and much more special DB. Just my $0.02

Odysseus does nothing for me. Maybe the ti version? Also make sure you can even get one. A lot of collectors getting cold shoulder from lange unless bundle.

I had an opportunity to wear Odysseus, and since then I can’t forget about this watch. Unfortunately chances to get it at ALS boutique are small...

Of course, everyone’s point about the DB is the stronger recommendation, but since you own other DB then I’m guessing the Odysseus is worth it to you. As far as selling a DB, outside of a dealer, it will be a long wait if you sell it on your own. This wou...

I would find a broker who specializes in selling these kinds of pieces. I highly do not recommend you use eBay nor Chrono24 if you don't know what you're doing (some sellers have been left with no money and no watch). Where in CHF are you? Feel free to se... 

I know how it is to fall off-love and in this case the only solution is selling it. DB are still doing well on the secondary market so you can try Chrono24 or an auction house. With Chrono I had good experiences. The Odysseus is very cool and more versati... 

After all, WPS may be the only place in the world where the majority may prefer your DB 25 over the Odysseus. The DB 25 is not beholden to the trends of the moment. Both great watches. There's an online retailer closely related to DeBethune's ownership. T...

But the blue faced steel Odysseus is, for me, the best version... I had a chance to try it and is so much nicer in person.. I would hunt the earlier versions that do not have the fully integrated bracelet, so you could play with different strap options to...

Without a public profile of a lot of sales, it will be tough to private sell that watch. Perhaps sell it to a dealer such as Watchbox who makes a market in that brand, new and used.
