The Laurent Ferrier Galet case works surprisingly well with a FP Journe strap
Too many spare FP Journe straps and so I tried a mariage style combo on my LF traveller: 
Alignes quite well with the case, but LF straps are tapered and FP’s are straight:
The non tapered strap creates a bolder appearance which matches nicely with the galet case:
Only problem is that the LF buckle is too small. And as I don’t have a spare FP buckle, here’s the solution:
All together this makes for a lovely Frankenstein 😅. What do you think?

What are the strap sizes? FP Journe OEM is 20 and 19 at the buckle.
That IWC buckle cannot be 19.
I wouldn't point at what you have done and say Ew Ew!
But with better watches I like the parts to match. It feels more complete that way.

Laurent Ferrier is a restrained aesthetic, but so many of their models are just perfect and elegant. Not a darn thing wrong with that watch no matter how long you look at it!
