The Hentschel H2

Following the introduction of the Hentschel H1 Chronometer two weeks ago, I now had a chance to take a closer look at the Hentschel H2, a 38,5 mm stainless steel model available with different dials and of course with the opportunity of individualisation by any future owner.

The case is shaped more 'casual' than the H1, the straight lugs give it a more sporty look. Also it is executed in a nice brushed finish.

The H2 otherwise features some of the key elements, Andreas Hentschel pays close attention to: a special domed crystal, allowing a clear view on a slightly domed dial and the curved hands, which are available either polished or blued.

It is in fact a very versatile watch, working well with a nice alligator strap, a calf racing strap - even a Nato strap is possible. There is also the option of a mesh bracelet.

The Hentschel H2 is powered by the inhouse calibre 1130S, an own development based on the historic AS 1130. With the H2 being more an entry level watch, decoration of the movement is in it's basic version a little less refined than the one with the H1, but remember, you can customize the level of decoration as you wish.

I hope you enjoyed this short report on the Hentschel H2! Let me finish with some addional photos:

Happy Easter to all of you!

Cheers
Henrik
