That the crown isn't screw-down
might have something to do with the fact that it's a hand-wound movement.
Not that it would be impossible to feature a screw-down crown on such a movement, but it would be unusual and a bit contradictory to the daily winding ritual.
Just my guess, I might be completely wrong.
But I imagine they've figured how to secure a 10 ATM water resistance with a simple push down crown.
Anyway, this watch looks gorgeous and I wish you a lot of pleasure with it.

They told me the watch had double gaskets to guarantee water resistance but you can still screw down a manual movement.
Can't imagine it's no different than an automatic movement that you can manually wind to start up. Just requires you to push in the crown and thread the screws.

But the idea of a hand-wound movement is that you wind the watch daily and, hopefully, find great pleasure in doing so. Therefore, having to unscrew the crown every time before winding would be not only unusual but also not very welcome among winding afic...

If it was a short power reserve then winding and unwinding the crown would get cumbersome but this supposedly has a 80 hour power reserve and is marketed as a sports watch. You would think they would make it a screw down.
Of course, I understand your point.
Again, the only things that really matter is that (i) your watch is gorgeous and (ii) they guarantee the WR.
