it's such a joy watching the deadbeat seconds mechanism and yet it's kind of sad as it demonstrates, at least to me, futile attempts to hold back the passage of time...

I follow for some time Arnolds&Sons watches. I have my favorites. Did you bought your Arnolds impulsive? Or was it a watch you considered for a long time?
