Great observation, ztirual -- I hadn't noticed those tiny reflections of my figure in the curved "mirrors" of the lugs until you mentioned them! Excellent analogy to a classic painting -- thanks for pointing it out. Best, Gary

Kudos to Kari for his great design and execution, to Allen for providing design ideas in the first place, and to Nikon for their excellent PC-E lens. I did get lucky with this shot, as it's tough to get the depth of the features and the contrasting colors...

You've managed to catch a unicorn - we all know it's beautiful, but no one has ever really been able to capture it on film (sensor) yet. nice job! It is always gratifying to see PuristS mature and develop, whether as watch enthusiasts, or as photographers...
