Taking every minute to wear this one, and plan to do so for the foreseeable future. The pattern, something Romain referred to informally as “the matrix”, is actually engraving on the sapphire crystal dial. It plays nicely in the light, nothing crazy that ...  

The dial does have a matrix like pattern to it 😊 Really a wonderful piece so I can well imagine that it won’t be leaving your wrist any time soon. As it seems to be the so far final addition to the year, you could also enter it in the Grand Finale Decembe...

I see your point about the seconds hand. That matrix does look very nice...neat technique to create it!

It could also be age, and failing eyesight. I can’t lay that on Romain !

Some of my watches are getting harder to read too...lol...who needs the seconds anyway?? And sometimes beauty and design may be placed a bit higher than outright functionality, and that's OK!

I do think for a time only C, this should remain the one that interests me most. I could see myself owning a C4, something opposite to this one.

Aside from my little Swatch, it’s been a number of years since I bought a new watch. This one was worth waiting for. I did very much want an elevated sports watch, these C series from Romain definitely fit that bill.

And while there is a lot to see on the dial, it all works well together and it’s not too much. The bezel is also very appealing, a mix of shape and finish.

The sunburst pattern in the lower left has a special effect being that it is positioned over the open portion of the dial, and the same with the transparent seconds disc. Plus the striated upper portion of dial contrasting with the hammered metal lower po... 

But they are not. It does gel very well, these different features are definitely complementary. I liked this one because of this, the C5 I do like too as it has a dynamic dial. But when thinking about the C I did want one with more on the dial side, and t... 

It’s a little less than 10mm thick, so noticeably slim on the wrist. If I could change anything it would be the lug to lug, a little shorter would be nice. It weighs about 55g, and so on the wrist very comfortable.

55g is quite unbelievable looking at the details and fits the bill for a super time only sports.
