Thank you Don! My take on the Gronefeld brothers latest offering...
Impressive pictures and impressive watches.
Still I must say that I am not a big fan. For me it is as if the Gronefeld brothers are trying too hard.
I sometimes get the same overload and get confused when looking at some other high end.
It is as if all is done to impress and it certainly does. I am more for the good old adage Meden Agan (μηδὲν ἄγαν) especially when it comes to the very top end section of watch making.
Just my very personal opinion, of course.

SIHH 2017 - Grönefeld
The Grönefeld brothers showed new dial versions and case metals of their award winning 1941 Remontoir and the Parallax tourbillon. Note that among others the 1941 Remontoir won the Best Mens Watch at the 2016 GPHG in November....

The wheel is part of the Rementoire
It is non moving most of the time. But every 8 seconds, it quickly spins in a clockwise burst to recharge the rementoir spring Regards, skyeriding

That 1941 Remontoir is such an amazing watch, I think I would wear it upside down. I really also like what they did with the dials. GEO

He is one of the few watchmakers who possesses the talent to create such beautiful rose turned art work. It\'s no wonder the Grönefeld brothers turned to Kari to supply their new dials.
