Has anyone ever seen this Greubel Forsey? A limited edition full ceramic cased Technique made for the US market. Interesting. Love the strap. Please stay safe everyone!

I’ve never seen that one. But it’s still a watch?
By: Tyo : March 15th, 2020-09:05
Just for my curiosity if you don’t mind. What do you have on the back?

Yes, it’s still a watch! Here is a borrowed photo to show the back side. Greubel used much more sapphire for the bridges to expose the movement even more.

I haven’t seen this version in person, but that watch could be my ultimate grail, it’s just stunning.

No, I do not have it. But I’ve seen it and it is so unique. As if the “normal” Technique is not unique enough! [nt]

It seems that the texture of the ceramic is what sets one brand apart from others...
By: myles721 : March 15th, 2020-14:32
Because it is evidently so difficult to texturize (it requires a diamond lathe?) when I bought a ceramic I really wanted varied textures on the case...

Yes I just learned that it makes a big difference if the ceramic is brushed or shiny and can alter the color. It must be very difficult to work with. The nice thing is it won’t scratch easily. [nt]
