Was it difficult to fit it to the watch? I did not order one as I fear I will scratch the watch trying to attach it.

It was not trivial, but doable. Easier than attaching a Rolex bracelet! if you don't want to do it yourself a competent watchmaker should be able to help.
The links were very easy to remove - really solid design! And there are half-links so can adjust the length precisely.
Today I discovered that they had
in stock the Nostromo on the bracelet - and pulled the trigger. So, will have both versions of the watch (Stardust regular and Nostromo) and one of them on the bracelet ))
Extremely comfortable. It is polished on the inside and it "floats" as the links move independently at up to 90 degrees angle.
Let's put it that way - I can't imagine my Nostromo going back on a strap any time soon ...
That bracelet is a piece of art imho
