Looking at the picture, the balance can move up and down quite clearly, however the system doesn't provide any give to actually absorb a shock when it comes to lateral movement. If you look at a standart incabloc shockproof, the hole and end jewels are housed in a coned bushing that is able to move in it's housing and is pressed down by the small lyre spring. The cone portion makes this system self centering while giving it a leeway to move and thus absorb shocks.
I see none of that here.
I understand my post might raise more questions than it answers ( that is if it makes any sense at all ).
I am a big fan of what Frodsham is doing anyway.
