Patrick, I am lost for words!

I am shocked and horrified at anyone let alone you being treated in such a manner. The watch industry is not just about the product but also, the after sales service experience. To be honest, if I had known that you had this horrid experience, I would not have bought the watches from Stephen Silver irrespective of how much I like them. Customer service is of paramount importance for me. Allow me to elaborate with two examples.
When I am keen on a Patek, my UK dealer will make sure they source it for me and keep it for me in their safe until I am ready to collect and pay for it. All they ask for is a minimal monthly payment of 300 GBP which is tiny for any Patek. Their objective is to ensure I get the watch I want as they know I am nuts over watches. So although I have retired to Malaysia, I still; buy my Pateks from them and ensure that I do attend all their events even though it means my having to fly 6500 miles to the UK.
I have recently acquired a sought after car in Malaysia and have been offered a premium of 65k USD by a friend to part with it. 65k USD for me is not an insubstantial sum but one of the main reasons why I have decided not to sell the car (yes, yes, I do love it) is because the staff at the dealership have treated me like family since I walked into the showroom two years ago. They had no idea then that I would be a customer. I have frequented the dealership on numerous occasions during the 23 month wait for the car to have a chat or to read their magazines and was always made to feel welcome. In fact I understand that they plan to throw a delivery party for me at the dealership where I would be asked to invite up to 20 friends, as a thank you for my custom.
Good customer service is hard to come by but when I am offered it, the dealer will have my custom for life.
