Dear all,
For my first post, I
choose to highlight the Toric Chronometre, one of my favorite Parmigiani
Fleurier’s watch.
This watch is the first one designed by Michel Parmigiani. It is directly recognizable by its iconic bezel (alternating of gadroons and knurling, according to a know-how realized by hand) which is inspired by the Antique Greek columns. The dial is also an identity code of Parmigiani Fleurier. It is available with a black opaline or white grained finish, an expert artisanal skill that creates a unique texture by brushing the dial with a mixture of silver powder by hand.
The Toric Chronometer is equipped with the PF331 caliber, chronometer-certified by the COSC. An automatic-winding mechanical movement whose autonomy is 55 hours. Regarding the finishes, we can see the oscillating weight in gold 22 ct guilloched by hand, and angled, beaded and Côtes-de-Genève-decorated bridges and plate.

The case is in 18 ct pink or white gold with a thickness of 9.5 mm and a dimension of 40.8 mm. Finally, the Hermès black alligator strap is the little touch which perfect the design of this model. In my mind, the Toric chronometer's style is therefore classic and elegant, evocating the time in its purest expression.
