I love this watch. For me part of the joy of looking at independent watchmakers is the rarity and uniqueness of their pieces. So an independent piece that looks a lot like every other watch does not do it for me. Enjoy your beautiful choice.

The remontoire is still a beautiful choice for many collectors, and I don't intend to diminish it in any way. But somehow when I lined it up against all of the other watches in my collection, it didn't fit nearly as well as the One Hertz. And it was obvio... 

I am proud my fellow Dutch guys made great watches. Holland is not a typical watch country, so a surprise an independent which make haute horology. Imagine Luxembourg is a watch country?

...but the movement is a show-stopper.

I too would be keen on acquiring one if the case was smaller.

And is at the top end of what my wrist can pull off.

I have a small wrist so the Remontoire is the largest watch that my wrist can pull off. I saw Tim Gronefeld wearing a One Hertz at the SIHH last year and Tim is not a small man!

Not that we all don’t take some time to figure out what we may go after and eventually purchase, but it sounds like there was a deeper level of thought put into this. To me it’s more interesting than the their other pieces, but given the size it is a non ... 

Awesome watch. One question I had is there was something about the watch having two gear trains. Does that mean that the seconds hand timing is not synced necessarily with the minutes/hours?

But I will get back to you on this.

Thats one excellent choice you made imho . I truly love all there watches a lot , i have a normal wrist so i can fit them all on my wrist without any problem, your One Hertz is one gorgeous piece of #dutchpride . Love the warm and soft tones of your watch...
