Happily-surprised that this arrived within the promised delivery timeline. Wasn’t confident it would, with the reported thousands of TOKIs that were ordered, and the pandemic etc etc The initial impressions are of an extremely well-finished piece. I’m not...  

And I agree about their packaging…it’s the little personal touches and attention to detail that stands out.

my wife really liked this dial color when she saw it and said this is one she could imagine wearing sometimes (but the strap would have to change). She’s never said that about any others of mine.

‘Svelte’ is the word that comes to mind. It’s Miyota inside, so I doubt that it is worthy of a display caseback

The work is not so clean as I spot several debris on the dial and hands. But I don’t expect much for its price point either

It would be interesting to see if the quality was better with the original (more limited runs) or with this larger TOKI run (albeit after several years of better cash-flow and maybe better QC)

I love the Kuronos. Lots of value at the price point, and slim and so wearable on the wrist. The Toki looks lovely, definitely a keeper
