My Furlan Marri Havana Salmon has arrived

Joining in the hype with the Furlan Marri Havana Salmon Ref. 1031A. Just received my watch recently and would like to share my short thought on it.

Right off the bat, the fact that it uses a meca-quartz caliber is likely to turn away many potential buyers. However after having some hands on time with the watch, I really think that the quality of the case, crown, pushers, dial, hands and even the straps (it comes with an extra strap) shines through and adds up to a very compelling package. I dare say it readily punches above its asking price. Even the packaging that the watch comes in is really nice.

All in all, I do feel that this first release is a sincere effort from the Furlan Marri team. I definitely look forward to what they will come up with for their next release.
