Moser and AR
Does anyone out there know whether Moser uses anti-reflective coatings on any of their models? My older Venturer Small Seconds doesn’t seem to have any. (If it does, it’s hardly effective, as you can see below.)
Given the visual interest generated by Moser dials, I have to wonder what the rationale for not coating the crystals might be. It certainly makes them very hard to photograph.

Thoughts, anyone?

Good thoughts, all! I have to say I don’t particularly object to the reflection, and have in fact had fun photographing the reflections on the Venturer crystal. I guess I’m more curious as to any aesthetic motivation for not using AR coatings. In the case...
