After some years of waiting that seemed an eternity, I visited Herve Schluchter last week to pick up my Essentiel. The watch is much more beautiful in metal than in pics. I love it! ...

wheels, plates and bridges. Does he work alone or does he employ decorators to help him? This watch is superb. Also, has he shared any plans for his next watch, if it is possible to share please?

He did share some of his plans, at least 3 novelties in the pipeline, some of them having completely new complications.

Somewhat coincidentally I just came across a watch with a very similar design on initial pass but at a vastly different level of horological interest, finish and price point. Honestly not being familiar with either watch I had to check when I saw your pos...

but how's your experience with the ownership of this watch please?

I wear mostly strap watches in Winter and bracelet/rubber in Summer. From the, roughly, 20 strap watches that I own, I regularly wear 10. Out of these 10, I wear this one at least twice a week. I has a very pleasant mass, sits incredibly well on the wrist...
