The hammer winding is very unique.

They could have based the watch on the calibre and case from their Benu 37mm. But I think with this amazing dial texture, it's ok to have a few more millimeters worth of material

My 6.5 inch wrist will just have to “sit out” this model

...even the 'big boys' sometimes use balance wheels that look too small.

Unfortunately this one is not offered with the tremblage dial, but it is still a fabulous watch.

The only difference between this watch and the other time-only Benu models is the dial. But I suppose that alone is a pretty big refinement.

at a certain 'sweet spot' for my budget, that combines a certain level of refinement for an amount that isn't stratospheric.

Simple and sophisticated. Very nice.

The color, shape, and finish are all just next level. Razor sharp!

The brand as a whole has been on my radar. I think they are making fantastic timepieces, and have been the past 10 years or so.

Will be the price, particularly compared to the time-only offerings of Lange. But I think at this general level of price, collectors are more concerned about getting exactly what they want rather than getting the 'best deal' (whatever that may mean).

...and definitely different when it comes to materials and technique. The work on the dial alone is very impressive. Hope to see one in the flesh someday...

I'm curious how it compares to Lange's tremblage dials on their Handwerkskunts pieces.

It seems that the texture on the MG is rougher and deeper, whereas the Lange watches have shallower, finer dimples. But I think you’d have to see both in person to really appreciate the difference.

i saw a posting on the mg website saying the brand has just debuted in sg with the tremblage models on display. would be great if someone could take a look and pics, then tell us. thanks in advance to whoever does

but this dial... Hmmm... numerals too large? Not sure... texture too sandy? Shrug...

So gorgeous! I’m looking forward to seeing it in person at the local AD because I think it’s going to be amazing. In my opinion, the rose gold looks way better than steel. I’m really tempted to order one already but I already have a Benu so…hard decisions... 

The hands are reminiscent of Laurent Ferrier's.

The LF hands are more traditional ‘spears’, whereas these are like spears with corners. Both are in the conversation for the best handsets in watchmaking imo.
