If you could choose one Grönefeld, which would it be? Of course everyone is familiar with the remontoire. It’s a gorgeous watch. But the more I look at and learn about the One Hertz, the more I wonder whether this watch may be a better representation of t...

My favorites were probably the guilloche + enamel combo dials.

all other things are not equal and at 43mm this is non starter. Having had several 1941 on the wrist it’s just perfect for me, and for many others. More traditional in sizing, and perhaps therefore more durable long term (in terms of fashion, style, weara... 

In all seriousness, though, the 1941 case is absolutely sublime. It is easy to be taken by the movements or the dials, but the 1941 case, to me, is perfection. And if that case is perfection, the Remontoire is the one to have, if just one. But as you can ...  

Been thinking about the baby blue Principia a lot lately 😬. Would look amazing next to my Remontoire. But a beautiful One Hertz would look great too . Can’t go wrong with any Gronefeld imho

I really can’t say enough positive things about the Principia. It’s just a stunning and fantastic watch for every day, and that blue is very nice. I must confess that I like them all. I have thought about adding a one hertz, but without having the benefit... 

Ofcourse its bigger then the 1941 case (Remontoire- Principia) but still got a elegant and pleasant feel and look on the wrist . So if you can add one at some point i think you won’t be disappointed.

That would be a dream combo together with my Remontoire imho . The One Hertz is such a gorgeous Gronefeld . Love this rose gold with creme dial . Very warm combo

But I still don’t understand the Hodinkee edition of the remontoire. Why would you get rid of the visible governor on the dial? That is the most unique aspect of the dial, and something you don’t see anywhere else. But I guess everyone’s tastes differ! ...

I have a Bespoke Remontoire and the Parallax Tourbillon. They are both different and I love them both. Those are the two I like the most. Like their other pieces too but cannot own them all

If you are buying one piece, the selection process is somewhat easier - size, style, available, etc. From a collecting pov, you add other aspects like does one "build" off the technique or technology of the other (ie Gauthier HMS as the extension of the H... 

the Parallax Tourbillon is an awesome piece! I haven’t seen one in the flesh, but I really like it. So, it would be between these two. Perhaps having some “hands on” time with the Parallax would help with my decision.

The parallax tourbillon and remointore are sold out. I am not sure about the one hertz but they do come up on the used market. I have not seen a parallax tourbillon of recent. I was fortunate because a dealer had one that was sold but the buyer bailed out... 

Frequently comes up on the used market.

I love automatic movements so this was an easy choice. With this dial I believe it looks fantastic on any strap choice. I can't wait to try other straps in the future. If there is a better time only AUTOMATIC watch on the market I want to see it. A close ...  

This is one beautiful Principia. And a Sports watch from the Brothers would be very cool indeed . Who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️. Time will tell

Tim and Bart are incredibly gifted and make fantastic watches. The One Hertz is definitely stunning but unfortunately not for me for three main reasons: too large for my (very) small wrist, too striking and eye catching for my (maybe too) classic style, a... 

Same here. I too have an extra small wrist but the 1941 case fits me like charm.

It’s only my pocket size which is small at this moment not the watch 😢

Anyhow not soon...
