Good question
I was actually really impressed with the case and crown. The crown is very large and a pleasure to wind, and it's 2 o'clock position makes it very comfortable. The case lugs are short and curved for comfort. There is actually a really nice little step from the case to the polished bezel. Also, I appreciate that they integrated o-ring seals into both the case and crown tube for water resistance. Not for submersion, but to be adaptable to actual daily wear and the risks of modern life.

Coincidentally I tried on a 42mm Vacheron today and it fit very well. But it was also very slim. So maybe it’s more the height than the diameter. But I also don’t think a dress watch should be too showy...it’s not a RO Offshore.
