Excited for Berneron
After a lot of soul-searching I liquidated some of my collection and purchased a couple of allocations for the Mirage 34. I instantly fell in love with that watch– it literally took my breath away. The Quantieme is beautiful in its own right, but it's a more cerebral experience than an emotional one.
Sylvain's story is one that particularly intrigues me amongst independents. Each of his watches depart from tradition and serve as a refreshing commentary on horology. I look forward to seeing what he has to say about the jewelry watch genre with the upcoming Fiasco.
No question his pieces are pricey, but the waitlist and aftermarket indicate there's demand. Let's see if it lasts.
