Endatto Watches

Hello dear Purists,

I ran into this Phoenix Arizona based watch brand named Endatto.

The watches are Swiss-made automatics powered by an engraved ETA 2824-2, visible through the exhibition caseback.

39mm and feature uniquely textured dials, and are fitted to padded, calf-leather straps with quick-release pins. They're intended to be worn dressed up or dressed down, the idea being to provide a versatile watch, suitable for any occasion.

Here are pics of their current models, what do you think?

By the change of font I can tell you copied and pasted the info right off their website. Please help me to feel I'm incorrect in thinking they or someone put you up to posting about this new brand.

Hello Sire Brandon,

I see your point. For better or worse, no one put me up to me it, just my own doing... I came across this brand and found out they were designed by someone right in the US, was really interested in the story behind it. I don't run into many brands from th...

As far as the American Indie scene, I suggest you deep dive Keaton Myrick, David Walter, and Dan Spitz. These are three of the finest creators in the USA, each who are working on super impressive projects.

Thank you for true suggestions Sire...

I think an ETA is a preferable movement for these kind of startups because if they can't make a go of it, the customer can still easily find people to work on it. As for the case back, kind of a moot point for me as I have a number of watches with exhibit...

Def an interesting thought there Sire....

I do go back and forth about exhibition dials, especially if the movement is not the most decorated, and sometimes I just want a slimmer watch..... I do love that "even now," people are taking a crack at starting new businesses, I LOVE IT!

Let's see, I am always interested in how these things turn out....

Usually seems like the big conglomerates have the upper hand right now. I like Ming and Habring, not sure Ming is completely independent though.....
